The Art of Gratitude

Thursday, October 10, 2013

I love this photo....I took it of my oldest baby girl while visiting the Nelson Atkins Art Museum in Kansas City.  We had so much fun that day...  I was so thankful to capture her taking in the beauty of this artwork.  I love that she loves art.  Out of all of the paintings in this huge museum, this was the only one that we could not find the information plaque on. There was no name of  a painter or information about the painting displayed.   I decided that I would call it "A Grateful Heart".   I am currently listening to the audiobook, "One simple act" (discovering the power of generosity) by Debbie Macomber.  One of the sections I listened to really sparked a fire in me to delve into the attitude of Gratitude....To learn the Art of Gratitude... (Sorry Grumbling & Complaining... NO more room for you here!)  I have decided to take a new journey and to walk a path of thanksgiving.  I mean to really be intentional on this journey....and I am excited to see where it takes me!

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
