Perfect for the Holidays!

3/4 c light corn syrup
1/4 c butter
2 teaspoons cold water
2 5/8 c confectioners sugar
1 c marshmallows
5 quarts plain popped popcorn

In sauce pan over medium heat, combine
corn syrup, butter, cold water, sugar
and marshmallows.  Heat until the mixture
comes to a boil.  Carefully combine the hot mixture with
the popcorn coating each kernel.
Grease hands and shape popcorn into balls.
Wrap in cellophane or plastic wrap and store at
room temperature.

To make them extra cute
you can add orange food coloring as soon as it boils.
Use tootsie rolls for the stems.

For the leaves you can use gum paste or fondant.
These are made out of gum paste, food coloring and
cut with a leaf cutter from Hobby Lobby that is
specifically for fondant or gum paste.

My best friend and her sister in Texas made these and sent me the recipe;)
Don't they look yummy?  These would make great treats and gifts for the Holidays!!
